Where Still Water Dreams started with me dipping an underwater camera on a selfie stick beneath the lily pads, just to see what the world looked like from underneath. The view was quiet and strange and beautiful—like a dream you almost remember. This painting tries to hold that feeling, where light filters through and everything slows down.
