Where My Heart Rests is inspired by the hills and backroads of my hometown in Virginia—the places that still feel like home no matter how many times I return. I built it up in soft layers of wax and color, letting the landscape settle into something familiar and beautiful. It’s about that deep exhale you feel when you’re standing in a place that has held you for years… the kind of place where your heart knows exactly how to rest.
Ultimately, I hope this artwork captures the peaceful essence of that moment view a quiet mountainscape, blending tranquility and movement. I’m excited to share this experience through my art and invite you to connect with the beauty of nature’s rhythm.
