ENCAUSTIC SPRING LANDSCAPE WORKSHOP | 2.5 HOURS
SATURDAY, MAY 10, 1:00 – 3:30 PM
Learn the basics of creating encaustic artwork through this fun introductory workshop. Students learn step-by-step how to create an encaustic springtime landscape painting on an 8″x8″ cradled wood panel. Encaustic techniques included in this workshop – prepping a wood panel, painting with encaustic, layering using mixed media, and adding details with accrection and incising. All supplies are included. No painting experience is necessary. This is a great class for beginners and artists looking to explore this exciting medium, as well as former students who want to learn a different season of landscape painting.
