ENCAUSTIC FALL LANDSCAPE WORKSHOP | 2.5 HOURS
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26, 1:00 – 3:30 PM
Learn the basics of creating encaustic artwork through this fun introductory workshop. Students learn step-by-step how to create an encaustic Fall landscape painting on an 8″x8″ cradled wood panel. The techniques taught in this workshop include layering encaustic paint and mixed media, applying pigmented shellac, accretion, and incising. All supplies are included. No painting experience is necessary. This is a great class for beginners and artists looking to explore this exciting medium, as well as former students who want to learn a different season of landscape painting.
