The Water Holds the Sky was inspired by a simple moment by a tranquil forest pond, where I watched the water reflect the beautiful summer sky. This mirror-like reflection captivated me, prompting me to express it in my art. I chose a soft palette of misty blues, delicate greens, and warm earth tones to reflect the subtle hues of the waterscape. Despite the calm colors, there’s a sense of motion in the composition and brushwork, echoing the gentle energy of still water and life that is hidden beneath.
Ultimately, I hope this artwork captures the peaceful essence of that moment by the pond, blending tranquility and movement. I’m excited to share this experience through my art and invite you to connect with the beauty of nature’s rhythm.
