Using oils and cold wax, I focused on textures and shapes that echo the gentle interaction between land and water—the way the river flows along its edges and creates moments of quiet movement. The layering of wax and color adds depth and movement, letting the imagination flow just like the river itself. The earthy tones blend with hints of blue to create a balance between the stability of the land and the fluidity of the water. My goal was to capture the feeling of being by the river, where everything feels grounded yet constantly shifting.
