Geological abstract depicting a rock formation literally in a light palette juxtaposed with the heaviness of rock. The title also suggests the intense feelings of love that transcend death. There’s dramatic texture in this piece of multiple wax layers. Mixed media includes encaustic, oils & cold wax and water-soluble encaustic paint. Titled taken from Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
