INTRODUCTION TO COLD WAX & OILS WORKSHOP | 2.5 HOURS
SATURDAY, May 24, 1:00 – 3:30 PM
Join me for a fun workshop where you’ll discover the magic of creating semi-abstract landscape art with cold wax medium and oil paints! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn step-by-step how to make stunning cold wax paintings first on watercolor paper, then on wood panel. I’ll be teaching techniques of using palette knives, wedges, and brushes with cold wax medium, and you’ll get hands-on experience with mixing colors, layering, glazing, scraping, and adding mixed media.
Don’t worry about bringing supplies—I’ve got you covered! But if you have some favorite oil paints, feel free to bring them along. No painting experience? No problem! This workshop is perfect for newbies and artists who want to dive into this exciting medium. By the end of the class, you’ll have your very own 8″x10″ original painting on wood panel that you can proudly hang in your home. Come and unleash your inner artist with me!
