ENCAUSTIC ABSTRACTION FROM NATURE PAINTING WORKSHOP | 2.5 HOURS
SATURDAY, March 22, 1:00 – 3:30 PM
Embrace your creativity with abstract painting! Students will use images from nature as inspiration for their abstract painting. In this workshop, you’ll follow simple steps to craft a stunning original encaustic painting on an 8″x8″ cradled wood panel. I’ll guide you through:
– Preparing a wood panel.
– Establishing a base design.
– Painting with pigmented encaustic paint.
– Layering with mixed media.
– Adding details with accretion and incising.
**All supplies are included.** No painting experience? No worries! This class is perfect for beginners and seasoned artists alike. It’s a fun and relaxed way to explore the exciting world of encaustic painting. So, whether you’re just starting out or looking to dive deeper into this exciting medium, come and join us!
