ENCAUSTIC ABSTRACT LANDSCAPE WORKSHOP | 2.5 HOURS | $135

Learn the basics of creating encaustic artwork through this fun introductory workshop. Students learn step-by-step how to create an encaustic abstract landscape painting on an 8″x8″ cradled wood panel. Students will learn encaustic techniques while making their own original painting including mixed media application, layering, collage, pigmented shellac burn, and accretion. All supplies included. Students may bring small papers and found objects for collage techniques. No painting experience necessary. This is a great class for beginners and artists looking to explore this exciting medium.
