ENCAUSTIC COLLAGE | 2.5 HOURS | $125

Learn the basics of creating encaustic artwork through this fun introductory workshop. Students learn step-by-step how to create an encaustic collage painting on an 8″x8″ cradled wood panel using their own memorabilia and found objects making their finished piece truly an original work of art. Students may bring papers, photocopied photographs on uncoated paper, fabric, and others collage materials to use in their original artwork. (Check with the studio if you have a questions about materials.) All additional supplies included. No painting experience necessary. This is a great class for beginners and artists looking to explore this exciting medium. (13 to adult) Workshops are held in Anne Stine Studio, 37949 Sayre Court, Purcellville, VA 20132. 703-431-7152 (For the safety of all participants, masks are worn during the workshop.)
